Position: Flow Through Tax Senior Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Flow Through Tax Senior Associate to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in accounting, law, or enough course work to be able to sit for a CPA or Bar Exam, a CPA or JD preferred, and 2+ years' experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry specific clients:
    • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations and partnerships from middle market to multinational companies.
    • Participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
    • Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation
    • Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize.
    • Communicate and team with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state and local, high net worth, international, research and development along with credits and incentives areas.
  • Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs.
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business, and sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state you are being considered.
  • CPA or JD license preferred.
  • Two (2) + year(s) of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
  • Microsoft Suite skills
  • There is currently no immigration sponsorship available for this position.
