MBI is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team We are looking for someone with great communication skills, who can work autonomously, has a keen eye for detail and has superior analytical skills. Are you the person we're looking for? Apply now to join our growing team


Responsibilities:

  • Give direction on Appealing Medical Claims EOR's
  • Review correspondence pertaining to A/R.
  • Able to work closely with others on a team.
  • Analyze and interpret A/R
  • Give Direction on Identifying and resolving billing errors.
  • Give Direction on Correcting claims.
  • Maintaining strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Customer invoicing.
  • Client and insurance appeals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of full-time healthcare experience in A/R and Collections.
  • 1-year Claims appeals experience
  • Able to maintain A/R procedures for collections.
  • Knowledge of appeals processes.
  • Fast learner.
  • Multi-tasking.
  • Experience with Work Comp Claims is an Extra PLUS
