JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Banquet Server must have the ability to set-up banquet rooms and serve food and/or beverages in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. Must be self-motivated and possess good lifting skills. Work with the Banquet Team to ensure a successful and well-coordinated event. Ensure the complete set-up and tear down of banquet functions and special events. Maintain all banquet equipment and banquet space.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Bartending experience a plus but not required

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITES:

Knowledge of the entire hotel food & safety compliance procedures, hotel safety procedures to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees.

EDUCATIONAL / CERTIFICATION / LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent – Required

California Food Handlers / ServSafe Certification – Required

State approved Certification Alcohol management - Required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

Minimum 6-months of Food & Beverage experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
