Job DescriptionJob Description

As a Financial Management Services Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for families in your caseload, assist with administrative duties in relation to participant employer obligations, and provide support in budget management. You will also be working closely with the Program Manager of Financial Management Services and the Financial Management Department to ensure our program and services are organized and on schedule so that we can provide excellent services to those we support.

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Complete the onboarding process, enrollment documentation with the persons supported
  • Provide extremely helpful, professional, and positive customer service
  • Be the main point of contact for the caseload
  • Monitor and document service delivery on an ongoing basis
  • Provide program education and assistance to the caseload of persons supported assigned
  • Regularly communicate with persons supported, managing party, Case Managers and Support Planners with updates, changes and information about their services.
  • Provide person-centered support to the individuals and families we support with a focus on both compliance and quality in service.
  • Problem solve issues and provide solutions in order to improve program processes and experiences.
  • Coordinate the annual renewal process, including tracking the Service Agreements with our providers for each person supported in your caseload.
  • Ensuring compliance with DHS, waiver regulations, DOL, IRS, unemployment, workers compensation, liability and best practices pertaining to FMS services.

  • Passion for helping people with mental and physical disabilities
  • Computer literate/ Tech Savvy with expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and/or EHR software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent math and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills/abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with demonstrated experience
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Work effectively as a team member and independently with great time management skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with experience to create positive outcomes
  • Have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally (Metro area)
  • Pass a background check

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent), preferably in Human Services or a closely related field is required.

Skills & Experience:

2-3 Years of experience working with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities. Knowledgeable on self-directed services. Must have excellent customer services and de-escalation skills.

Compensation Range: $22 - $25 per hour.
