Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThis position works directly with the Soccer Shots Leadership staff to ensure fast, reliable information to our parents in a sometimes quickly changing environment when it comes to weather changes and it's affect on staff and parents The role is guaranteed a minimum of 5 hours/week and the person in this role MUST be available during the hours listed below to immediately talk and handle last minute issues. Communication is a Core Value for Soccer Shots Buffalo, and this role is being created to help fulfill this promise to our families.

Hours:
THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION- but the applicant must live in Western New York
- Applicant must be available Monday-Friday from 3:30PM-6:00PM, Saturday & Sunday from 7:00AM-12:00PM for a minimum of 5 hours per week

Supplies Needed:
-Reliable computer
-Cell phone
-wifi access

Responsibilities:
- Manage last minute class cancellations
- Find subs for coach call offs
- Monitor weather in franchise locations
- Contact families for weather or sessions cancellations via mass text message, social media post and email
- Follow necessary cancellation/reschedule process
- Communicate with directors and coaches about weather communication status and subs
- Update website as needed
- Mass communications sent to families and staff (weekly staff newsletter, seasonal parent newsletter, etc)
