ROLE DESCRIPTION

Wesper is looking for a smart and driven Warehouse Associate to join our growing team.  You will be responsible for helping the fulfillment and return processes, ensuring all items are processed timely and effectively following company standards. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the workplace.

This role requires ability to multitask, and manage competing priorities.  You should have strong attention to detail, to  achieve inventory accuracy, and coordinate order fulfillment, components cleaning, inspecting.

This is an in - person role at our LIC facility. This role will work approximately 40 hours per week with core working hours between 10-6 pm ET.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Experience maintaining and organizing a warehouse for incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Inventory management experience
  • Experience inspecting returns
  • Quality mindset


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Return Processing: Receive, inspect, and clean returned items, verifying their condition and documenting any discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Update inventory records to reflect returns, maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory status.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure returned items are in sellable condition or properly categorized for disposal or recycling.
  • Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all returned goods are sorted and stored according to company protocols.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent further education or certification in logistics is a plus
  • 1-2 years of logistics experience
  • Proven experience in a logistics or warehouse role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and order.
  • Solid communication skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs regularly 
  • Must be on-site at our facility in Long Island City
