Progressions Rehabilitation offers residential care and rehabilitation support to adults with Traumatic Brain Injuries at several locations throughout Macomb and Oakland counties. Our mission is to provide personalized care and life enrichment through quality and compassionate care, while maintaining a positive and safe therapeutic family environment.

This position will work within our Day Program as the Activities Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily presence in the day program to help achieve goals laid out by Activities Coordinator
• Daily huddles to make sure persons served get to and from day program
• Follows treatment plans and programs that meet patients’ needs and interests
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities and community work integration
• Record and analyze person served progress
• Evaluate interventions for effectiveness
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• PREFERRED: Experience in Behavioral Health and/or TBI
• Communicate effectively 
• Must be compassionate and have a friendly demeanor
• Excellent communication and time management skills are required
• Must want to make a difference
• Desire to have fun at work
