Responsibilities:
- Pyrometry Service, Calibration, Temperature Uniformity Surveys/Profiles, System Accuracy Testing
- Calibration Labs / Metrology Labs
- Industrial Burner Manufacturers and Service Entities
- Furnace Manufacturers and Service Entities
- Process Control System Integrators or Instrumentation Manufacturer
- Heat Treat facilities (automotive & aerospace)
- Evaluation of energy-burning systems
- Control of the rate and uniformity of heat transference
- Expertise in combustion supervision and management
- Installation and maintenance of combustion equipment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Pyrometry Testing (not necessarily auditing)
- Knowledge of Pyrometry Specifications (AMS-2750, GE P10TF3, Boeing, CQI-9, etc.)
- Commissioning or adjusting
- Maintenance or troubleshooting background preferred
- Calibration or repair of temperature instrumentation
Requirements:
- Temperature Uniformity Survey
- Temperature Profiles or Uniformity Survey
- Thermal Profile or Temperature Profile or Temperature Uniformity Studies
- System Accuracy Testing or SAT's or SAT or Thermocouple Checks or Temperature Verification
- Knowledge with temperature controls, tuning and PID tuning or troubleshooting
