Military Intelligence Subject Matter Expert

Location: Remote support (CONUS) with engagements at U.S. Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) Headquarters and forward travel to partner nation for multiple trips.
Level of Effort - Expected support:
17-21 June 2024: CONUS trip CENTCOM HQ 17-21 June 2024
Early July – early August 2024: OCONUS travel
Tentative: Another trip the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility
2025: High potential for at least 5 trips to partner nation.

Availability: June 2024
The Hoplite Group is seeking a Military Intelligence SME to assist a partner nation, under an awarded U.S. Government contract, to establish a Military Intelligence (MI) capability across the Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) continuum. This SME will help the partner nation establish this capability at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels while supporting the connection of MI activities across all its services (land, sea, air) and integration with other ministries.
Requirements:
- Experience as a leader in U.S. Intelligence Community training and education (GS/GG-13 or higher / senior non-commissioned officer (E-8/E-9); or former mid-grade officer or higher (equivalent experience as a contractor may be substituted for government positions).
- Experience developing Individual and Collective Military Intelligence training.
- Experience as an intelligence advisor in the CENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR).
- Experience working as an Intelligence Observer Controller (OC) at the U.S. National Training Center (NTC).
- Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Training of Intelligence Planning and Operations officials
- Training of Intelligence Strategy, Policy, and Doctrine officials
- In-person and virtual facilitation techniques and tools
- Project Management tools and techniques
- Instructional Design
- Experience drafting strategic intelligence documents: Concept/Doctrine Development / Defense Policy/Strategy Development.
- Experience translating U.S./NATO principles, methods, and experiences into understandable, teachable, and acceptable content.
- Knowledge and experience with U.S./NATO Joint and Service military intelligence doctrine and the ability to identify and communicate its key principles and practices for Partner Nation use.
- Department of Defense current/active Secret Clearance a must.
