We are looking for a receptionist to join our team at BSI Financial Services. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the office, the receptionist serves as a point of contact for customers and vendors.
What you will do:
- Handles incoming calls to corporate office.
- Process visitors, provide visitor badges and ensuring the return of visitor badges.
- Chaperon vendors
- Check answering machine and process the messages.
- Process in coming mail, return mail, scan return mail
- Process Fed-ex, UPS, & DHL
- Log all Certified Mail. Incoming and Outgoing. (Sending this every month on the 25th to finance for billing.)
- Create Fed-ex shipments and certified shipments & order supplies when needed
- Maintain copies of tracking logs.
- Hand out mail, ensuring, when necessary, mail is signed for by party collecting.
- Additional tasks include any axillary work needed to complete above mentioned items.
- Any additional tasks as required by my direct manager.
- Maintains keys and employee rosters.
- Order all supplies for office.
- Stock and upkeep of breakroom
- Does administrative duties for all departments when requested.
- Assisting with event committee for events in office.
- Direct employees to find information needed.
- Schedules meetings.
- Schedules conference room requests.
- Sends reminders for staff.
- Communicates with building management in reference to issues or request
- Internet research for various things per request.
- Handles corporate credit cards.
- Creates and manages written communications.
- Responsible for meeting legal requirements and following internal policies

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize effectively and efficiently
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 am – 6pm.
Education and Experience:
Proficient with PC and related software such as Excel, Word, Power Point, FedEx, & Sagent
