Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hard-working Inventory Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the availability of stock to meet operational needs. If you have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular inventory counts to verify stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
• Input inventory data accurately into our database or inventory management system.
• Monitor inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with purchasing departments.
• Assist with receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, and updating records.
• Maintain organized and clean storage areas to facilitate efficient stock retrieval.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding inventory needs, issues, and discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory control and management.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
• Proven work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role, preferably in a warehouse setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Range: $20-$25 / hr
