360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a leading provider of physical therapy services dedicated to improving the quality of life for their patients. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a physical therapist to promote and maintain health by providing top-notch physical therapy services.
This is a full-time, direct hire position with our client in La Plata, MD
Pay: $28-$32/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Administer treatment programs, perform physical examinations, and update therapy histories to assess patient health.
- Therapeutic Procedures: Execute manual exercises and assist patients in performing physical activities, such as ambulatory functional activities and daily living activities.
- Supportive Devices: Aid patients in using crutches, canes, prostheses, and other supportive devices.
- Patient Instruction: Counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, and wellness and health maintenance.
- Documentation: Chart patient care services and maintain department records.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Compliance and Accreditation: Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as JACHO standards.
- Professional Development: Participate in educational opportunities, read relevant periodicals, maintain personal networks, and join professional organizations.
- Contributions: Enhance the reputation of physical therapy by accepting new challenges and exploring opportunities to add value.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining legal and accreditation compliance.
- Dedication to professional development and continuous learning.
