Deburr Technician

NOW HIRING - 1ST SHIFT: Deburr and Hand Polish Technician

Busy manufacturer looking for a skilled deburr and hand polish technician to join its team, full time. We work 10 hour shifts 6am through 4:30 p.m., with a 30 minute lunch. We are looking for a new team member to handle the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and instructions on deburring
• Select the appropriate hand tool or grinder to achieve the tolerances required by the print and instructions
• Safely use the selected hand tool or grinder to break edges, remove defects, and smooth surfaces per the print and instructions
• Maintain an impeccably clean and organized work area

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-8 years’ experience as a deburr technician, preferably in an ISO9001 or AS9100D quality controlled environment
• Ability to read blueprints and instructions, select the appropriate tool, and achieve the profiles and dimensions required by the blueprint and instructions
• Must be able to sit and concentrate on a repetitive task for prolonged periods of times
• Must have the eyesight and dexterity to manipulate hand tools and grinders deburr parts to requirements

ITAR and criminal history requirements:

Due to the nature of the work performed at our facility, you must:

• Be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or qualified asylum or refugee
• Have a clean criminal record free of any felony and certain misdemeanors
• Be willing to submit to a drug test upon receiving an offer for employment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading
• Deburring Experience
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Salary info:

$22 - $28 / hr
