Commercial Lines Insurance Marketer/Rater

Our office is rapidly growing and we are looking to train the right individual to fit right into our company. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position in our Commercial Lines Department. Our Commercial Lines Marketer/Rater would work with our sales department in obtaining commercial lines quotes. **Salary commensurate with experience**

• Obtain underwriting information for new commercial clients from our sales department
• Complete Acord applications in our Agency Management System (AMS360). Complete all required supplemental applications
• Work with insurance carrier underwriters to obtain quotations and negotiate terms
• Prepare quotes using insurance carriers on-line rating programs
• Keep sales department informed on progress of submissions
• Prepare insurance proposals
• Bind and issue new commercial policies
• Document all transactions in AMS360 and complete any necessary documents needed by insured

• Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
