Position: Desk Attendant/Communications Clerk

Location: Homestead, PA

Pay: $18.000/hour

Type: Temp to Hire

Hours: 2 shifts available -see below

  • Wednesday / Thursday – (Midnight to 8 am) and Friday / Saturday / Sunday – (4 pm to Midnight)
  • Tuesday / Wednesday – (10 am to 6 pm) and Thursday/ Saturday / Sunday – (4 pm to Midnight)

Type: Temporary to hire
Covid: Must show proof of Covid vaccination (First two shots)

Qualifications/Duties

  • Computer literate
  • Customer service experience helpful
  • Multi-line computerized telephone experience required
  • PBX experience preferred but not required
  • Transfers calls to appropriate persons or departments
  • Makes overhead announcements
  • Assists in the implementation of the Centers’ emergency plans related to fire alarms, disaster drills, bomb threats, utility disruptions, weekly fire alarm tests, and drills
  • Handles all Codes (Blue, Amber Alert, and Fire Code)
  • Maintains residents and employee directories
  • Meets and greets visitors and provides general information and direction
  • Performs general clerical duties: mail, copying, filing, stuffing envelopes

Requirement:

  • Must be Covid Vaccinated
  • The position is contingent upon passing a background and pre-employment drug screen.
