As a Logistics Specialist at Allports Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics department. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, inventory management, and providing support to the logistics team. Key Responsibilities:

- Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain data related to shipments, inventory, and other logistics activities into our systems.

- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available to meet customer demands.

- Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.

- Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate information flow.

- Support: Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including scheduling shipments, coordinating deliveries, and handling customer inquiries.

- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve logistical issues and discrepancies in a proactive and timely manner.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is a plus).

- Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred but not required.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Knowledge of logistics software and systems are a plus.

- Bilingual Is a plus
