ASC Medical Assistant

Seeking an energetic, detailed individual to fill our open position as ASC Medical Assistant in our busy urology surgery center. The ideal candidate will perform a range of clinical and administrative tasks which include but are not limited to:
- Prepare patients and assist physicians with procedures
- Collect and update medical histories
- Take and record patient vitals
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Prepare rooms and ensure all supplies are ready and available
- Maintain appropriate inventory and reorder as needed
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take messages
- Assist with the sterilization of instruments for procedures
Medical Assistant Qualifications/Skills:
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Must be organized.
· Reliable and responsible
· Professionalism
· Customer focus
· Urology experience preferred but will train
