Summary Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Associate to join our dynamic team. The Parts Associate will play a crucial role in our operations by managing inventory, fulfilling kit pulls, and ensuring the availability of parts for various projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of inventory management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Kit Pulling:
  • Accurately pull and assemble kits of parts based on work orders or project specifications.
  • Ensure that all components are included in each kit, checking for accuracy and completeness.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Maintain an organized and efficient parts storage area.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and update records to track stock levels.
  • Communicate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
  1. Order Fulfillment:
  • Process parts requests from various departments in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all orders are picked accurately.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
