Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) provides individual, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, psychiatric services, and medication assisted treatment for mental health and substance abuse treatment needs. Position: Lead Client Care Advocate


Job Summary: Supporting individuals in recovery with day-to-day tasks and collaborating with various departments to promote a supportive and effective recovery environment. This position reports to the Clinical Site Director and supervises Client Care Advocates.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide oversight and direction to a team of Client Care Advocates including supervision and coordination of schedules.
  • Foster positive and effective communication with clinical, medical, and other residential treatment teams.
  • Provide support, guidance and monitoring to individuals in Residential treatment.
  • Monitor client progress and ensure adherence to program guidelines. 
  • Completes billing and documentation accurately in a timely manner. 
  • Participation in community activities best represents the professional image of Lighthouse. 
  • Keep well documented notes and communicate daily shift notes with Client Care Advocate Lead, clinical, and medical teams as needed
  • The Client Care Advocate will serve as a role model, act as a mentor, advocate, and motivator.
  • Establish rapport with clients, work with a diverse population, verbally de-escalate crisis, maintain the confidentiality of protected and sensitive information, develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, family members, social service agencies, and other job-related contacts.
  • Must be able to function with a high degree of problem-solving skills. According to client needs, the client care advocate is expected to prioritize, self-direct, and organize daily activities.
  • Assist with facility management including coordinating and serving meals and housekeeping duties.
  • Participate in clinical treatment activities and ensuring activities comply with the provisions of HIPAA and 42 CFR.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Experience/Certifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma/ G.E.D
  • CDCA certification
  • Previous experience as a client advocate, PCA, or similar position.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and active insurance
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug


Desired Experience/Certifications:

  • Serve Safe Certification
  • 6+ months previous experience in a lead or supervisory role


Schedule

Hiring for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as non traditional schedules
