Job Summary: The Aerial Lineman support all aspects of telecommunication installations including the construction and maintenance of telecommunication structures, cables and data centers ensuring that work is performed in the safest manner possible with delivering a high-quality product to our customers.


Job Duties:

  • Working on communications equipment and projects. May include installing, testing and repairing structures and equipment.
  • Takes direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timeline.
  • Review documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, and determine the required installation methods.
  • Help supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.
  • Perform inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.
  • Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines.
  • Assist training crew members on proper safety/quality standards.
  • Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed.

Experience and Education:

  • 2-4 years Telecommunications experience
  • High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
  • Valid driver’s license preferred with a driving record that meets Company requirements.

Competencies/ Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player attitude.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to travel away from home, including weekends.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, if working outside.
