Bethany Medical is looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager (GI) who is energetic, highly motivated, possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills and embodies the ability to work effectively and independently. Candidate must be committed to providing a quality health care experience for our patients and families.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse License (North Carolina) required
•
Experience as a charge nurse, preceptor, quality improvement champion or other related leadership experience preferred
•
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
•
High school diploma OR General Education Diploma (GED) required
•
Basic Life Support
•
Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement and clinical care delivery processes
•
Knowledge of federal, state, & local regulatory requirements
•
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Job Details
Assists in Managing activities of the unit, monitors quality, service and utilization standards
•
Assists GI Nurse Manager in the day-to-day shift activities
•
Assists in Managing the unit’s day to day clinical operations including practice standards, staffing, fiscal management, quality improvement department, employee safety programs, and risk management
•
Ensures the highest quality of care is provided and is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and established departmental policies and procedures
•
Assists in Developing and implementing action plans to improve staff development
•
Monitors the quality of service and utilization standards and assumes specific responsibility for patient care at the unit level
•
Ensures coordinated plans of treatment, customer focused care and cost-effective utilization of services
•
Implements best practice models
•
Investigates and resolves patient/family member concerns regarding patient care
