Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Orders Pick/Pack Supervisor to oversee our direct to consumer fulfillment operations team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in a fast-paced distribution environment, with a focus on maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all aspects of order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of order pickers and packers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and accuracy.
Coordinate with warehouse management to prioritize orders and optimize workflow to meet daily production goals, adjust accordingly to sales/promotions/new launches.
Documentation and implementation of process procedures including periodic reviews to promote continuous improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Includes scheduling based on workload, hiring, disciplinary actions and firing as needed of team members within the department.
Collaborate with other department leaders for process reviews, KPI structure and project planning, including account and inventory management teams to maintain the best overall experience for our customers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
MUST HAVE A Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and great communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members and communicate effectively with our customers; bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) , prior experience with 'Extensiv' is a plus, as well familiarity with Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule is M-F 7:30-4:30; available for minimal mandatory Saturdays through peak holiday season.
Pay is $18-20/hour depending on experience.
