Entry Level Equity Research Analyst

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Entry Level Equity Research Analyst specializing in Acquisition Financing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in analyzing financial data, conducting research, and providing insights to support investment decisions in the field of acquisition financing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies involved in acquisition transactions, including evaluating financial statements, assessing capital structure, and analyzing cash flow dynamics.
- Industry Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting acquisition financing activities.
- Company Valuation: Utilize various valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions to assess the fair value of target companies.
- Due Diligence: Assist in conducting due diligence on potential acquisition targets, including reviewing legal documents, analyzing risks, and identifying potential synergies.
- Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations summarizing findings, insights, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior analysts, portfolio managers, and investment bankers to support investment decision-making processes and client engagements.
- Continuous Learning: Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement in areas such as financial modeling, data analysis, and industry research.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial concepts.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) is preferred.
- Prior internship or coursework related to equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance is a plus.
