We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a 13-week contract at a skilled nursing facility. As the DON, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Oversee the delivery of resident care plans and ensure they are implemented effectively.
  • Manage staffing levels and schedules to maintain optimal patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [State].
  • Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar role in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a focus on team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
