Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Job Duties

  • Start up, takeoff, and review specifications of plans for Sawing & Demolition divisions
  • Actively involved in estimating new and ongoing projects scope of work, ASI, RFI's, change orders, etc. 
  • Provide accurate and detailed estimates to achieve profitable work from clients
  • Complete takeoffs from plans, specifications, and quantitative bids
  • Contact customers for take-off questions and follow up on proposals
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss bid day schedule
  • Setup project portfolio fore sales department (takeoff, scope, plans, details, specifications, etc.)
  • Attend job cost meetings with Production and Sales when needed
  • Market other scopes of work SCS provides when the opportunity arises. Share leads with other divisions Sales/Estimating departments.
  • Attend company functions when required
  • Jobsite walkthroughs. Site visits may be required when needed
  • Assist in any form of estimating procedure to help the success of the company


Job Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating 
  • Building envelope and sawing & demolition experience is a bonus, but not required
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in estimating software
  • Proficient in converting & editing documents 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills


*Our office/work hours are M-F 7am-4pm*
