Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAG Natural DB2 Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in SAG Natural DB2 programming running in IMS and good analytical skills for defect and prod issue investigations and research.

Primary Requirement:
Strong knowledge in SAG Natural DB2 programming running in IMS
Good analytical skills for defect and prod issue investigations and research

Acceptable:
Strong knowledge in SAG Natural any version depending on the type of applications providing the experience (real-time, human user-oriented, etc.)

Desirable:
Cobol knowledge
DB2 concepts and relational DB knowledge
Local candidate preferred

Nice to Have:
Familiarity with Windows server and ability to maintain applications on a server
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain SAG Natural DB2 programs running in IMS
Investigate and resolve defects and production issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
Provide technical expertise and support to end-users
Participate in code reviews and testing
Ensure adherence to coding and quality standards
Continuously improve programming skills and stay up-to-date with new technologies

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in SAG Natural DB2 programming running in IMS
Good analytical skills and ability to investigate and resolve defects and production issues
Knowledge of Cobol, DB2 concepts, and relational DB is desirable
Familiarity with Windows server and ability to maintain applications on a server is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
