Job Opportunity: Fire Protection Dispatcher
Are you passionate about ensuring the safety of others? Do you have experience in the fire life safety field? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Protection Dispatcher to join our team. This is a crucial role that involves coordinating emergency responses, monitoring fire life safety systems, and utilizing your expertise in fire alarms, monitoring systems, fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, and general knowledge in the field. Looking for someone to join our nationwide company.
Position: Fire Protection Dispatcher
Responsibilities:
- Emergency Coordination: Respond to emergency calls, assess situations, and dispatch appropriate resources.
- System Monitoring: Monitor fire alarms, surveillance systems, and other fire life safety equipment.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with emergency responders, technicians, and other relevant personnel.
- Troubleshooting: Provide guidance and support in troubleshooting fire life safety systems.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of emergency calls, responses, and system activities.
- Training: Stay informed about the latest developments in fire life safety and provide training to staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the fire life safety field.
- Knowledge: Proficient in fire alarms, monitoring systems, fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, and general fire life safety protocols.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
