Job Summary:

Raizan Solutions seeks a Welding & Forming Process Engineer to spearhead the design, implementation, and upkeep of superior welding and forming processes for our clientele within the franchise sector. This position, operating as an individual contributor, entails close collaboration with clients to grasp their unique requirements and devise inventive strategies to meet their objectives. Moreover, the incumbent will partner with our internal departments to optimize resource utilization and technological advancements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate machinery, procedures, and operations to pinpoint opportunities for bolstering safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives to refine standards and procedures, fostering operational excellence.
  • Assess proposals from suppliers for new equipment acquisitions and oversee their integration.
  • Implement optimal manufacturing processes, leveraging contemporary organizational principles to ensure competitive cost structures.
  • Continuously enhance existing and new manufacturing processes through ongoing improvement endeavors.
  • Forge close partnerships with production and maintenance teams to maximize equipment efficacy.
  • Execute Capability Studies and Time Studies to elevate process efficiency.
  • Develop Visual Work Instructions and offer production assistance and process issue resolution.
  • Champion cost-saving endeavors, with a focus on reducing waste, rework, and cycle times. Specify tools, jigs, and fixtures to streamline manufacturing processes.
  • Manage projects and deliver daily troubleshooting assistance. Actively engage in Kaizen events to propel process enhancements.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Mechanical, Welding, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2-4 years of engineering project involvement in metal manufacturing.
  • Expertise in Lean manufacturing methodologies, capability studies, process mapping, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in Creo, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
