The Job Search Facilitator is responsible for helping recent program graduates apply for jobs and prepare for job interviews. The Job Search Facilitator will develop and facilitate curriculum to assist graduates in their job searches.

Essential duties and responsibilities:


Facilitation Responsibilities

  • Facilitate curriculum for resume building, interviewing skills, job search strategies and digital literacy.

Participant Responsibilities


  • Provide constructive, timely feedback to participants to prepare them for interviews.
  • Assess student strengths and weaknesses to assist with effective job matching.
  • Conduct weekly group and 1:1 coaching session with participants.
  • Motivate students and hold them accountable for achieving their weekly goals.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Attract and coordinate volunteers to assist with preparing participants for interviews.
  • Track participant progress in CRM database.
  • Assist with intake and onboarding of new students.
  • Assist with building and maintaining relationships with potential referral sources.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge of the skills required for strategic job searches.
  • Ability to coach adult learners and provide constructive feedback when necessary.
  • Comfortable communicating both one-on-one and with small groups.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff, both verbally and in writing.
  • Understanding of and empathy for those with differing cultural, racial or ethnic identities.
  • Ability to work independently while having ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • 2 years of professional experience in providing group instruction, or coaching adults to reach set goals.
  • Valid driver's license, in force auto insurance and vehicle for full time business use required.
