Code Ninjas Wildwood is offering a unique opportunity for enthusiastic and experienced individuals to join our team as youth STEM and Coding Instructors. In this role, you will guide and inspire young learners aged 5-14 through engaging coding activities and projects. No coding or STEM experience is required. This is an exceptional chance for those passionate about technology and education to shape future innovators.

We seek passionate individuals passionate about technology, STEM, and working with kids. In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving our shared goal of providing children with a fun and safe learning environment. As a Code Sensei at Code Ninjas Wildwood, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. If you have experience working with children, enjoy teaching and fostering problem-solving skills in young engineering minds, and have mentored youth, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities

• Have a blast teaching kids skills like coding, math, logic, and problem-solving
• Training go through the curriculum and get familiar with it
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
• Work with children to determine skill sets
• Provide feedback to parents on Ninja's progress
• Follow opening/closing duties daily
• Clean dojo throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up to corporate standards
• Report daily to Center Manager concerning the days activities and productivity in the dojo

• Weekly Instructor Hours: Monday & Wednesdays- 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Additional Available Hours include evening Student Hours (4:30 PM8:00 PM), Parents' Night Out Events (Friday evenings), Birthday Parties (Saturday afternoons and evenings), and other special events (hours may vary).
• Scheduling is flexible: up to 15 hours a week

Qualifications/Requirements

• Daytime availability required (9:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
• HS Diploma required
• 1-3 years experience working with children ages five and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Strong communication skills
• Possess a positive outlook and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledgeable about coding and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts
• Experience in education or childcare preferred but required.
• First Aid/CPR Certification: Preferred but not required.
