Job Summary:

The RCM Correspondence Representative is responsible for retrieving, sorting, and directing mail for the Company. The Representative also assists with preparing and sending mail for the RCM department. Additionally, the Representative will monitor and review documents in the bank lockbox to ensure documents are directed to the appropriate department.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Retrieves and sorts mail, including packages, by department and category.
  • Delivers mail to correct department or recipient.
  • Forwards misdirected mail.
  • Prepares RCM documents and other items for mailing.
  • Fills out mailing labels, including researching proper country codes for international mail and regional zip codes for domestic mail.
  • Arranges pickup from postal service and other delivery vendors.
  • Monitors and reviews bank lockbox documents and redirects to appropriate departments, as necessary.
  • Maintains records of mail volume.
  • Maintains inventory of mailroom supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education/Certifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Competencies:
    • The ability to organize work and meet established deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Use of standard computer business applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
