Your Role: As a Construction Assistant Project Manager, you'll collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to develop comprehensive action plans, assist with project plans and designs, and ensure efficient allocation of resources. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with project team members and stakeholders to develop comprehensive action plans, encompassing schedules and the procurement process for subcontractors, ensuring efficient allocation of materials, time, labor, and other essential resources for project completion.
  • Assisting with the creation of project plans and designs through the Requests for Information (RFIs) and Submittals process.
  • Producing subcontractor and vendor Commitments (Contracts) and Change Orders, along with Owner Change Orders and estimates using Procore, under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Offering recommendations and conducting analysis on materials, equipment, scopes, and project practices to optimize project outcomes.
  • Evaluating the competency, capabilities, resources, and financial standing of vendors to ensure suitability for project requirements.
  • Supervising project development progress against the contract schedule, reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Utilizing Procore Budget to prepare and compare actual project development costs with estimates, with oversight from the Project Manager.
  • Develop comprehensive action plans and manage schedules and procurement processes.
  • Assist with project planning and design, including RFIs and Submittals.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, change orders, and estimates using Procore.
  • Analyze materials, equipment, and project practices to optimize outcomes.
  • Evaluate vendor competency and suitability for project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against the contract schedule and report to the Project Manager.
  • Utilize Procore Budget to prepare and compare project costs with estimates.

 

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Seeking candidates with at least 2+ years of project and construction management experience with a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. This experience includes planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
  • Are familiar with MS Project for project planning and scheduling tasks and have experience utilizing Procore Financials (this is essential for the role).
  • Are excellent communicators and can effectively convey information to project stakeholders.
  • Are natural planners and schedulers who enjoy maintaining project schedules and anticipating potential bottlenecks.
  • Have a customer-centric approach and consistently look for ways to exceed expectations.
