About the Role

The ideal candidate for our Custom Millwork Fabricator position has experience with all aspects of architectural millwork fabrication and familiarity with a variety of material types and finishes.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure each job is executed on-time and to the highest standards of quality.
• Stay on task and focused, meeting or beating deadlines.
• Analyze/interpret drawings and specifications to verify dimensions and design intent.
• Manufacture and assemble high-quality custom architectural elements and structures.
• Determine tolerances and test project elements.
• Operate all woodworking machinery, finishing equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
• Work with different materials, including solid surfaces, epoxy, metals, melamine, solid wood, wood products.
• Perform exact measurements, ensure precise installation of hardware and other elements.
• Perform wood finishing, sanding, staining, and applying finishes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in millwork fabrication and carpentry
• 3+ years of experience on commercial job sites
• Millwork shop equipment experience (jointer, planer, wide-belt sander, pro cabinet table saw, bandsaw, etc)
• Experience with power tools and hand tools
• Effective communicator with our team members
• Working knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures
