Innovative Cosmetic Concepts is looking to hire a Corporate Paralegal to provide general support our in-house Legal department. The Corporate Paralegal will be responsible for conducting research, organizing documents, preparing and reviewing contracts along with some clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator that thrives in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review basic corporate documents and various contracts under attorney supervision and prepare basic correspondence and memos.
  • Assist counsel with general corporate transactions, domestic and international.
  • Assist with legal matters in a variety of areas including corporate, litigation, corporate governance, intellectual property, compliance, sales and marketing, privacy, and employment.
  • Draft resolutions, certificates, and other basic corporate documents, together with basic correspondence.
  • Draft, review, and revise basic preliminary contracts (i.e. Vendor Agreements, MSA/SOW’s, Service Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc.) under attorney supervision and facilitate the finalization/execution of the same.
  • Liaise with company officers, outside counsel, insurance agents and other parties as necessary.
  • Assist in investigations, document production, interrogatories, file management, record maintenance and litigation summaries.
  • Manages general office administration, including calendar, operations issues, and file maintenance.
  • Conduct research on regulatory and corporate legal issues relevant to the company and prepare summaries, memos and related documents.
  • Performs necessary clerical tasks as requested including scanning, duplicating, or filing legal documents.
  • Various projects and other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent in Paralegal curriculum and 5+ years related corporate paralegal or in-house experience preferred.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be well-organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize & handle multiple projects at once.
  • Superb oral and written English communication skills; ability to be creative and engaging in written communications.
  • Strong work-ethic, flexibility, and willingness to get the job done and be solution-oriented.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
