Work Location: Sumter, SC 29153
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Shift: 3x12 Nights
We offer:

Responsible for ensuring production processes align with regulations and established procedures by planning, writing, reviewing and revising quality control plans; developing and implementing inspection and testing methods; conducting tests of raw materials, packaging materials and/or finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements; performing complex analyses and tests on raw materials, packaging materials and/or finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements; preparing technical reports summarizing results of analysis and tests; and maintaining documentation of all inspections, tests and studies performed.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Highschool or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, SAP, etc.
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently, and within deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and accuracy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic principles
  • Ability to understand and interpret schematic drawings and technical specifications
  • Able to log onto PLCs and read and diagnose ladder logic for trouble shooting purposes. (Allen Bradley PLCs preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of MS Office Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree on mechanical or electrical or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in GMP/ ISO environment
  • Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Food and Beverage, or related industry experience preferred
  • PLC experience (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
