Job DescriptionJob DescriptionRole

As a MIG Welder (also known as Gas Metal Arc Welder, Steel Fabricator), you'll join, fabricate, and repair steel parts using specialized gas metal arc welding techniques and equipment. You'll interpret blueprints, inspect completed welds for structural soundness, and comply with all safety requirements. You may also prepare materials and set up for a welding device or robot.

Qualifications
  • Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and one or more processing machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints, use a variety of hand tools, and use measuring tools.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and must pass a MIG welder certification.
