Location:

This position requires an onsite presence at our Sarasota office. As an integral member of our team, you will be collaborating closely with colleagues in a dynamic office environment. About the Role:

As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for preparing and filing basic to advanced-level Federal and State tax returns promptly. You will be expected to maintain open communication with internal Supervisors, Managers, and Principals to ensure quality assurance and workflows are continuing in an organized, efficient, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of individual and business taxation and the ability and willingness to work in a team environment to assist in all phases of engagement.

Position Responsibilities and Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting is required
  • CPA certified or CPA exam eligible is highly desirable
  • 1-2 or more years of recent experience in public accounting with a primary focus on tax preparation and review
  • CCH and Lacerte Experience helpful
  • Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral, written, research, and technical skills.
  • Willingness and excitement for learning new tax law and software usage.
  • Excellent prioritization skills.
