Moving Helper

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur growing moving company is looking for a strong and professional mover to join our team. You’ll follow the dispatcher’s work orders and customer requests to safely load, transport, and unload a variety of items for our residential and commercial clients. $18 - $22.5 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Verify no items are missing with client and team members before leaving
• Protect furniture with moving blankets or plastic wrap
• Organize moving truck with items to be transported
• Transport a variety of heavy, large, and fragile items carefully
• Confirm work orders and communicate with client on moving preferences

• Have professional and friendly interactions with clients to build great client relationships

Qualifications:

• Physical abilities such as stairs, bending, lifting, standing, and moving 50 pounds alone or 100+ pounds with team members are required
• Applicant must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
• Applicants who have obtained a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is preferred, but not required
• Applicant should be collaborative, reliable, and have excellent customer service and communication skills
