Engineering & Inspection Services, LLC (EIS) is a distinguished organization in the New Orleans area, dedicated to providing high-quality engineering, inspection, and design services since 2000. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Field sketching
- Gathering dimensional information
- Creating piping isometrics
- Conduct necessary fieldwork inclusive of walk downs of current systems, locate tie-ins and measuring.
- Implement the vast majority of drawing deliverables.
- Creation of design drawings such as: isometrics and plant layouts.
- Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative.
- Takes ownership of assignments.
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment effectively.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
- 2 year Associates degree in related field is preferred.
- Be in good standing with DISA.
- 5+ years experience
- Possess knowledge of industry standards including AWS, ASME and API.
- Must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office for daily inter-office communication and documentation
- Experience in 2D/3D modeling utilizing one of the following: PDS, Bentley, or AutoCAD
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional climbing
