Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with expertise in PC provisioning, server management, network infrastructure, and user support. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing technical support to end-users, and implementing and maintaining various IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision and configure PCs for new employees, ensuring they have necessary software and access permissions.
  • Manage and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
  • Monitor and maintain firewall, DNS, and Wi-Fi systems to ensure network security and reliability.
  • Manage IP range assignments and ensure efficient utilization of network resources.
  • Administer Active Directory, including user and group management, access controls, and security policies.
  • Set up and manage VPN connections for remote access to company resources.
  • Administer domain access and controls, ensuring appropriate access levels for users.
  • Provide end-user support for laptop and PC troubleshooting, including hardware and software issues.
  • Create and manage user accounts and permissions across various systems and applications.
  • Order and manage network circuits to support the organization's connectivity requirements.
  • Perform basic software management for IoT devices, ensuring proper functionality and security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support roles, with a focus on system administration and network management.
  • Strong knowledge of PC provisioning, server management, firewall configuration, DNS, and Wi-Fi management.
  • Experience with IP range management and subnetting.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory management, including user and group administration.
  • Experience setting up and managing VPN connections.
  • Familiarity with domain access controls and permissions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for end-user devices and software.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) are a plus.
