This position is responsible for CSEC equipment, property, facilities, and resources. Responsibilities include repair, maintenance, and disbursement of equipment and supplies. This person will also be responsible for performing deliveries within Knoxville, TN area.
What You Will Do:
As Warehouse Assistant, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining warehouse conditions to a high standard of safety, organization, and cleanliness inside and outside facility
- Tracking and maintaining fleet vehicles, materials, equipment, and facilities
- Must have basic Construction materials/tools knowledge
- Track inventory and purchase new items needed based on project demands
- Maintenance and repairs of in-house rental items
- Management of the fuel account for fleet vehicles
- Tracking the check in and check out of rental items and materials
- Maintain good inventory of all receiving tickets for weekly turn in
- Maintain updated safety items for monthly warehouse inspections
- Load and unload trucks utilizing forklift
- Repair and maintain tools and equipment
- Prepare orders for delivery
- Drive trucks, and deliver orders to construction sites
- Provide general housekeeping and building upkeep
- Perform basic computer functions
- Maintain Yard
What You Will Bring to the Team:
Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:
- One (1+) years of work experience or related job field.
- -or- equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work at a fast and steady pace to meet production goals.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and able to talk and hear other employee talking. The employee must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Expected Hours of Work Full time position. Occasional extended hours and weekends may apply.
Travel Travel to project sites to make deliveries is required. The majority of travel is confined to Knoxville, TN area. Home daily.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: The majority of work is completed outside at the construction site and in an office trailer where the project is monitored, and daily decisions are made about construction activities. The position is often exposed to sounds and loud noises, such as construction equipment. The job requires the wearing of protective equipment when on the construction site (hardhats, safety glasses, and highly visible clothing). Temperatures and conditions may vary depending on the weather and seasons. As part of our focus on being a Great Place to Work, we want to make sure we are clear on a few more basics we expect:
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach (with hands and arms), climb, balance stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
