As a Patient Payment Representative at HME Specialists, LLC, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with patients and insurance providers to ensure accurate application of payments for medical supply services rendered. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be critical in accurately recording and reconciling payments to patients' accounts. Additionally, your ability to navigate insurance processes and guidelines will enable you to effectively communicate with insurance providers, ensuring timely reimbursement for services provided. Your dedication to accuracy and your empathetic nature will allow you to provide exceptional customer service, addressing any billing inquiries or concerns that patients may have. What we're looking for in a Patient Payment Representative

To be successful as a Patient Payment Representative at HME Specialists, LLC, you should possess strong analytical and mathematical skills to accurately apply payments and reconcile accounts. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software is essential for organizing and manipulating financial data. Additionally, excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams.

Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accurate recording and documentation of financial transactions. As this role requires working with sensitive patient information, maintaining a high level of confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations is of utmost importance. Familiarity with medical billing or insurance processes is advantageous, as it will allow you to navigate and resolve any billing inquiries or discrepancies efficiently.
