Job: Electrical Engineer Team: Software/Controls Location: Luling, TX Position Type: Full-Time

Our team of innovative engineers and scientists is committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in rocket propulsion. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to join our team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree an engineering discipline with 1+ years of experience
  • Experience with data acquisition systems, sensors, instrumentation, VFDs, and motors
  • Familiarity with Git source code control systems
  • Experience with control panel design, wiring, and debugging
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment during test, launch, and print operations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 3+ years of experience
  • Experience working in hazardous areas and/or supporting live test events
  • Industrial Manufacturing Experience
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A code
  • Robot and PLC simulation experience
  • Experience with 6DOF Robotic Arms (Kuka, FANUC, Universal Robots, ABB)
  • Experience with reliable safety systems (ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant)
  • Familiarity with Jira/Confluence
  • Proficient with C, C++, or Rust
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Grafana
