Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary: Signify Health, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Dallas, TX: Sr. Director, Quality Engineering to plan, direct, and coordinate quality engineering (QE) teams and activities supporting the design and delivery of efficient technical software solutions. Duties include: direct daily operations of multiple scrum teams supporting the software development lifecycle (SDLC), analyze workflow, establish priorities, and develop quality standards; review project plans and coordinate project activity to promote the use of core shift-left, behavior-driven development (BDD), and test-driven development (TDD) practices; aggregate, review, and report on data related to application and team performance, and drive change based on performance metrics; mentor junior team members developing software solutions that deliver incremental value through iterative, customer-focused software releases; identify opportunities for improvement across dependent services and teams; direct software quality testing and design, write, and maintain test plans and test cases for updates from small applications to large systems with multiple dependencies; perform and document manual testing, build automation testing, support data testing, and maintain diverse and dynamic sets of test data covering a large range of scenarios; triage production issues and document bugs identified by automated and/or manual testing, and track defects/bugs trends for corrective action; improve operational efficiency through AGILE Scrum meetings and CI/CD processes with cloud hosted systems; support end-to-end application delivery and production deployment for software systems used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and direct the resolution of production issues and root cause analysis to inform test strategy, prevent future technical issues, and align product development roadmaps with quality engineering organizational goals. Telecommuting available. Domestic travel to various worksites required once per month.Multiple positions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Managing global and distributed teams; Managing roadmaps across teams to meet project dates or deadlines; Resolving production issues and leading rook cause analysis involving multiple stakeholders; Developing requirements for test automation and partnering with the quality engineering team on creating efficient automated test suites; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Karate, SoapUI, REST-Assured, Postman, and Jmeter; Selenium Webdriver, Cypress, Java, and Eclipse; JIRA, Rally, and Confluence; Cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, or GCP; Docker and Kubernetes; Microservices and APIs testing; SQL queries; and Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
