Worldwide Counter Threat Solutions (WCTS) is seeking motivated employees to join our SkillBridge Program as a Project Management intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to acquire essential skills and knowledge in project management through a combination of theoretical training modules and practical on-the-job experiences. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, interns will actively contribute to our company's growth and success while preparing for future career advancement opportunities.

Work Location: Hybrid work model at our Fredericksburg, VA office.

Work Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm

Travel: None

Start: Immediately

Length: 91-120 Days

Clearance: Secret Clearance preferred, but not required

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage with training modules, completing each module in a timely manner.
  • Apply lessons learned in theoretical training to real-world scenarios through on-the-job training and practical application.
  • Participate as an active member of the company's work environment, attending weekly progress meetings and engaging in professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with executive staff and team members to update on project status and participate in discussions on potential future employment opportunities or career advancement paths.

Candidate Profile Qualifications:
  • Active duty servicemember
  • 1-5 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilitiies
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365.
  • US Citizen.

Preferred
  • Familiarity with the federal contracting process
  • Familiarity with Project Management
