Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCake DecoratorWash hands when leaving/returning to station and at least once every hourPrimary Duties:
  • Maintain a filled cake-display freezer at all times (including novelties)
  • Decorate cakes for backup (use a FIFO rotation)
  • Complete all cake orders
  • Take cake orders from on-site guests and phone orders
  • Track all cake sales using a cake log
  • Track product usage and waste
  • Clean cake preparation area
  • Assist if needed, in other areas (front counter, soft serve, OJ drinks, hot dogs)
· Answer any cake questions from customer looking at the display case. Actively engage cake customers in a welcoming waySecondary Duties:
  • Refill all gels, icing bags, etc
  • Provide orders to managers for inventory levels
  • Change all cake POS on cake merchandiser
  • Prepare cakes for special occasions
· Clean freezers and cake display merchandiser· Sample cakes in the lobby during peak times. Sampling should include a friendly greeting, offer of the product, a brief and appealing description, and of course, a smile. Be prepared to list ingredients
  • Ensure all sanitary waters are changed and linens rinsed or changed as needed (wash cloths, hand towels, etc)
