Pay

  • $25.00-$32.00 hourly

Responsibilities

As anHVAC Technician, your primary role will involve delivering expert service and maintenance for residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostic Expertise:Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems in residential homes, conducting thorough assessments to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Maintenance and Upkeep:Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to ensure optimal and reliable performance, executing preventive measures to address potential problems and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Repair and Replacement:Address identified issues promptly by executing necessary repairs or replacements, and coordinating with team members and clients to implement effective solutions.
  • Testing and Optimization:Conduct system tests to validate performance and optimize efficiency, fine-tuning settings for maximum energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service:Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering inquiries, communicating effectively to explain diagnoses, recommended actions, and potential future needs.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and organized records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities, documenting equipment specifications, parts used, and work performed.
  • Communication and Collaboration:Collaborate with customers and team members to ensure the timely completion of projects, communicating effectively to convey technical information clearly and understandably.
  • Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to create a secure work environment, identifying and mitigating potential hazards during service and maintenance activities.

Job requirements

  • 3-4+ years experienced required
  • EPA Section 608 Certified
  • Refrigerant License Levels 1 and 2
  • High school Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screeningupon hire
  • Must be able to work in the US.
