Position Overview: Seeking a talented Pega Business Architect to join our IT Software Development Services (ITSS) team. The Pega Business Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and enhance business processes, clarify strategic objectives, and contribute to development plans. The role requires critical thinking, adept use of digital whiteboarding tools, development of test plans, management of DevOps work items, and creation of comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate existing business processes and clarify strategic objectives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Guide clients through the evaluation of Pega modules, assessing their relevance and suitability for the organization’s needs.

  • Assess client organizations and delivery environments to recommend optimal Pega-based solutions tailored to their specific requirements.

  • Support strategic business-need assessments and tailor Pega solution implementations to fit organizational needs.

  • Analyze user feedback and requirements to solve complex problems, breaking them down into manageable parts for development teams or clients.

  • Analyze current processes and recommend efficiencies to streamline operations and enhance productivity.

  • Conduct analysis, design, and change management activities as needed for individual projects to ensure successful outcomes.

  • Use digital whiteboarding tools (e.g., Visio, Adobe XD, PowerPoint, Figma) for centralized reference in virtual meetings, adapting to user input and making real-time changes.

  • Work directly with users to elicit requirements through discussions and feedback loops, generating documentation from diagrams and flowcharts.

  • Develop detailed test plans and scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assisting users with testing prior to prospective deployments.

  • Create UAT web pages outlining roles and steps for testers, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and clear instructions.

  • Administer work item management platforms like Azure DevOps, conducting meetings, creating and running queries, and maintaining up-to-date work items to ensure team alignment.

  • Manage Pega-focused requirements gathering, maintain the functional backlog of Pega user stories, and validate the delivery of user stories against customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of over all professional experience.

  • With at least 3-5 years of experience in relevant fields like business architecture or process management.

  • The role involves a variety of complex tasks, including strategic planning, process evaluation, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

  • Developed ability to evaluate processes, clarify strategic objectives, and make well-founded recommendations.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to work effectively with various stakeholders.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Azure DevOps tools and methodologies, coupled with hands-on experience in actively contributing to Scrum team dynamics.

  • Knowledgeable in Pega Platform capabilities, with a deep understanding of its Case Management functionalities and applications.

  • Extensive track record in client-facing positions, demonstrating adeptness in comprehending intricate business requirements and effectively resolving multifaceted challenges.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

  • Pega Certified Business Architect Certification (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $141,400 to $166,900 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
