Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the planer mill, including scheduling, production, and quality control.
- Supervise and lead a team of mill operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Optimize production processes to achieve maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supplies.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to achieve product quality goals.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2 - 5 years) in a supervisory or management role within a planer mill or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- In-depth knowledge of planer mill operations, equipment, and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
