A2Z Staffing is currently recruiting for certified forklift operators (sit-down) with great customer service skills.

In this role, you will assist with the loading and unloading of materials with a forklift in warehouse and for customers, as well as manually moving product.


A forklift material handler, also known as a warehouse associate, is responsible for moving, storing, and managing materials using forklifts and other equipment. Their responsibilities include:

  • Receiving materials: Unloading trucks and containers, and inspecting incoming materials for damage
  • Storing materials: Ensuring materials are stored in the proper location, and selecting the right storage locations
  • Moving materials: Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport materials between storage locations, loading docks, and delivery trucks
  • Preparing materials for shipment: Assembling items, packing them, and loading them onto trucks
  • Maintaining inventory: Recording inventory levels, locations, and cycle counts, and monitoring supplies
  • Maintaining equipment: Performing pre-use inspections, making repairs, and reporting any damage or malfunctions
  • Keeping the area clean: Sweeping and general housekeeping
Requirements:
  • Must have forklift experience
  • Must be reliable & work every day scheduled
  • Must be willing to complete other tasks as assigned
  • Must have excellent customer service
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background
